OddBird Art & Craft Fair is ready to come home for the holidays with its first-ever Winter Fair!
Join us over 2 weekends (Nov 29 - Dec 1 and Dec 6-8!) in the heart of Old Strathcona, where artists, designers and makers from Edmonton and beyond will serve up all things weird and wonderful.

Our Expos are all about celebrating our local houseplant community, artists and small businesses. We'll always value community over competition and work to build an inclusive experience for everyone involved- vendors, volunteers and attendees.

This event is free. Come down to the new location of Good Goods and bring your Smithstine Copper Jewelry along. I will polish it up so it looks shiny as new. If I have time I will do it while you look around, or if it is too busy you can leave it and I’ll mail it back to you or you can pick it up later.
I will also have a selection of jewelry on sale at the event! Good Goods is a shop that features local food, gifts, jewelry, coffee and other items. The Alberta Craft Council is very nearby as well.
Open Farm Days at Chatsworth Farm is Saturday, August 17th from 11 am - 5 pm.

Smithtsine Copper will be part of Strathearn Artwalk again this year! This is my own neighbourhood and I love the festival atmosphere. I will only be set up on the Saturday this year, not Sunday.
We are your neighbourhood home base for creativity and connection. Strathearn Art Walk & Music Festival is a free, family-friendly event that pops up along the river each year to celebrate all the unique voices in our city. We believe in community, we invite opportunity, and we strive to create an atmosphere of sustainable, long-lasting, meaningful connection.
Smithstine will be an artisan vendor set up at Chatworth Farm on August 19th.
Alberta Open Farm Days, on Saturday, August 19th. Open Farm Days is a province-wide open house for Alberta farms, who invite their urban and rural neighbours to stop in for a visit. Join us for the day to meet the people behind the farm, see where your food comes from and learn more about farming, enjoy a day out, and reconnect with nature.

The Strathearn Art Walk is a free, family-friendly event. This annual celebration of the arts strives to bring out the best in our community by bringing people together to celebrate emerging and professional art, all with the scenic backdrop of our beautiful river valley and city skyline.
Previous years have featured over 300+ artists and attracted more than 25,000 visitors.
Handmade market at the Folk Music Festival in Gallagher Park. Ticketed event. Market runs during the day and ends in the early evening each day.

We have rented the Strathearn Community Hall for a small holiday market event. This is a collaborative event with The Copper Hat and Snow Alligator. The Copper Hat (my sister Kate & brother-in-law Brad) make, design and sell high quality wet shaving and natural body care supplies for all people! Jason Blower of Snow Alligator makes charming, locally inspired illustrations and home decor.
This is a small event with some fun holiday perks - cupcakes, giveaways, non-alcoholic drinks, photos and holiday shopping from both businesses.
Please wear a mask. Attendees over 12 must show proof of covid vaccination or present proof of a negative covid test from the previous 72 hours in accordance with Government of Alberta's Business Restriction Exemption Program.

Strathearn Art Walk is a rain or shine event. In the event of rain, we advise ponchos, boots, umbrellas and rubber duckies. In the event of sunshine, we advise sunglasses, sunscreen, shorts and pink flamingos.
The Strathearn Art Walk is 100% child-friendly.
Check back soon for transportation information! But we can say there will be a FREE Bike Lock-Up on-site once again in 2021, but no Park and Ride option.
Yes, and no. For 2021 washrooms will be available only for volunteers and artists/vendors. There will be NO public washrooms on-site. But there will be plenty of hand sanitizer stations around the site, if you’re in need of some clean hands.
Absolutely! The Strathearn Art Walk is a dog-friendly event. We just ask that you keep your four-legged friends on leash.
For 2021, there will NOT be an ATM on-site. Most artists/vendors will accept major Credit and Debit cards or other forms of contactless payment (apple pay, etc.). However, we can not guarantee they all will. Please plan ahead to bring cash if needed.
If you lose something at the event, please check out our Information Tent, that will be conveniently advertised and marked on-site, and on the site map, once available. If you realize you’re missing something after you’ve left, email us at info@strathearnartwalk.com with as much information as you can provide and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
Due to current COVID-19 restrictions and guidelines, we are not NOT planning an on-site beer gardens or food truck court in 2021.

We are continuously working with AHS and the City of Edmonton to ensure we provide a safe and inclusive environment for all artists/vendors and visitors. There will be several First Aid Volunteers around the site who will be easily identifiable with First Aid lanyards. Please don’t hesitate to grab one of them if needed, or just say hello if you have a question. Please make your way to the Information Tent if you can’t find someone.
Additionally, if you see anyone at the event who appears to require medical assistance, please inform either a First Aid Volunteer, or any volunteer you see in Art Walk gear. We are all in this together, so please look out for one another!
For 2021, free masks will be available for anyone requiring one. As well as multiple hand sanitizing stations throughout the site. Keep those hands clean! See, told you we’re very pro-clean hands :)
