Handmade, reversible copper enamelled heart necklace. The front is enamelled in colourful enamel powder. The back is enamelled in black. Every enamelled piece is completely one of a kind! Small imperfections give the piece character and handcrafted charm.
There are 8 colours and they are all one-of-a-kind. Once sold out they are gone. Choose chain length and colour upon adding to cart.
Process:
These hearts are vintage blanks that I inherited from my Grandma. I then sift a fine powdered glass substance called enamel onto the surface. It is slowly fired at a very high temperature layer by layer to melt and fuse the coloured glass to the copper. I use a small enamelling kiln which my Grandma used for copper enamelling in the 70s. Every enamelled piece is one of a kind!
Pendant hangs from a nickel free, copper plated, brass, round, cable chain. Features a small, copper plated, lobster claw style clasp. Choose your chain length upon adding to cart. Handmade with care in Edmonton, Alberta. Comes in special packaging ready for gifting.
